I've been hunting for hours trying to find a thread that was on here that was just for spankings in movies and TV, but eventually I came across this thread and decided to dump this video in here for now. The reason is that during my viewing of Flying Down to Rio (1933), as well as the Airplane Strip scene there also appeared this little scene involving who were then the stars of the film Gene Raymond and Dolores Del Rio (before being overshadowed by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, that is). Raymond has deliberately crashed his plane on a island so he can be alone with Dolores, but when she starts getting high and mighty and slaps him, he decides to teach her a lesson and puts her over his knee and spank her. I know there are fans on here that like this sort of thing - I'm certain there was a movie thread just for this on here somewhere - so for those fans, enjoy.

A spanking scene from the unusual film The Girl Who Couldn't Quite from 1950, starring Bill Owen and Elizabeth Henson - in only her 2nd screen role - as a girl who has never smiled, let alone laughed, until one day she sees a tramp (Owen) and finds him enchanting. The family persuade him to stay on at the house in a bid to help their strange daughter, but Owen's tramp is straight talking and stands no nonsense, and when Henson is rude to one of her uncles, he decides to teach her a lesson. "You ever heard of etiquette?" he asks her after asking her to show her to a seat in the garden. "No Tim," she replies. "Well, this is it!" says Owen, bending her over his knee and spanking her backside repeatedly while she kicks and screams fruitlessly, unable to prevent her humiliation. Afterwards he presumes she wants him to leave, but she begs him to stay. "Just no more etiquette," she adds cautiously, now chastened by her experience. This scene was used for the promotion of the film in cinemas, intriguingly enough.

For Elizabeth Henson, hers was a short career and by 1956 her film career was over. However, she lived to the grand old age of 90, dying in 2016, and in this film she certainly will be forever young. As for Bill Owen, he would become famous on TV for another screen tramp, that of Compo Cissinite in the long running UK comedy Last of the Summer Wine from it's start in 1973 to his death in 1999, aged 85.

In another of my strange foreign language finds that I found in my folder, this clip involves a geeky girl with glasses being told by a priest that she has a superb physique, by what I can tell. When she realizes that he wishes her to strip so he can judge her properly, she panics and attempts to run for the door, but finds her exits blocked by the priest, before giving in and taking off her clothes. He then takes her hand and leads her to the sofa before pulling her across his lap and admonishes her for disobeying her by spanking her bottom. Her cries of pain are soon replaced by cries of pleasure, as she realizes this disciplining is for her own good, and by the end of it she is eager to prove her obedience by unzipping the priest - at least, I think he's a priest - ready to give him oral sex (it cuts before she can do the trick). You don't often see girls with glasses naked or spanked in a film very often, so I thought you might appreciate this video. What it's called, I have no idea, but enjoy anyway.

In the film Yours For The Asking (1936), Ida Lupino plays a con artist hired with her pal to distract the attention of George Raft's casino boss away from a woman he has fallen in love. They are hired by Raft's pals Saratoga and Bicarbonate (James Gleason and Edgar Kennedy) as they fear his fancy woman may be a bad influence on him, but unbeknownst to them Ida is planning to double cross them by conning Raft out of his money. The reason I explain this is so you can understand what's going on in this video clip, as Raft has twigged her game and all havoc breaks loose as he confronts her. I've edited out the part where her pal pops up, his pals pop up to fight them and then Raft discovers his pals deceit, and cut straight to the part after Raft leaves and Ida tries to flee, only to be grabbed by Gleason and bent over his knee for a good old fashioned spanking. This clip comes from the US TV series The Restless Gun, starring John Payne - no, not that one. This one is a Payne. And literally for Judi Meredith in the episode Tomboy from 1958, appropriately playing one who wants to be one of the boys and who decides to hold up cowboy Payne for kicks. However, she soon regrets her folly and after outwitting her and grabbing her gun, he then decides to dish out his own pain and pulls her over his lap for a spanking. And this has to be seen to be believed, as the actor looks to be enjoying himself far too much, grabbing Judi's bum for what looks like a good old fashioned grope before then spanking her backside. I couldn't believe it when I saw this clip had already gained over 2,000 views within a month on You tube, but it seems a lot of people on there just believe in old fashioned corrective discipline and chastisement for young womenfolk of today. Whether spanking interests you or not, this clip from a 1958 US family TV show needs to be seen to be believed!

Spanking videos seem to be popular on Youtube, and they don't always date back to the Hollywood Golden era and B&W movies either. Here is a clip from a TV series called Bored To Death from 2010, involving Zoe Kazan. In what strangely seems like another era despite only being from the last decade, this sees Zoe persuade her college teacher to indulge in her fantasy of being spanked and controlled after watching the film The Story of O. Surprisingly he goes along with it after some persuasion and after bending her over his lap he eventually gets fully into the spirit of it, spanking Zoe's firm backside with gusto until the janitor accidentally comes in on them.

Nowadays a scenario involving a teacher spanking his pupil would raise more than a few eyebrows (no, not that - behave!), but it turns out that later in the series he actually has a relationship with his pupil! Another spanking video for the thread and it seems the Wild West had a parchant for this sort of discipline in the old Westerns in Hollywood. Maybe it's because it was the Wild West and the women were as wild as the men and had to be tamed, but spanking was the go to punishment for any misbehaving girl. In this one Jeff Donnell (no, it's not a man) plays a girl who decides to dress as a man (confusing, I know) to try and get to her boyfriend in another state. Later in the video clip she learns that the two will have to sleep together in the mountains as "two chaps together" and panics as she tries to avoid going to bed, before she confesses she is really a girl mascarading as a boy. As for "Jeff" Donnell, Jeff was a nickname from an old cartoon strip "Mutt and Jeff" given to Jean Marie Donnell when she was a kid as it was a favourite cartoon of hers. Starting out in films in 1942, her best known roles are in The Fuller Brush Girl (1950), In a Lonely Place (1950) and The Sweet Smell of Success (1957, as well as Stella Fields in the US soap opera General Hospital from 1979 until her death in 1988 of a heart attack aged 66. She was often cast as a tomboy, but maybe the casting directors also realized it showed off her best feature. As the publicity photo for her 1946 film Throw a Saddle on a Star seems to suggest, producers were not adverse to showcasing a star's finer features if it would get bums on seats (so to speak).
