Anyone any stories about home made calendars? Either ones you've made for/with your partners or ones you've seen (with or without permission)
I have a friend who I was a 'second' wedding photographer for. WHo asked for ideas what to get her husband for their first anniversary. As the theme was paper I suggested a cheeky calendar. Obviously I was hoping shed ask me to take the pictures. Turns out she liked the idea but never asked me. Damn. Anyway, I eventually heard she had done it and made it my mission to see what was on it. Eventually I saw a couple of the pics. Nothing too risqué, mainly underwear or implied nudity. Was pretty hot though. I was desperate to get my hands on it to take photos!

Anyone have anything similar?

Yes, Many years ago, early in our relationship, when my, now wife, realized what a horn dog I was, she made a calendar for me. Money was tight back then and she wanted to give me something to remember. It was especially hot because to this day I do not know who the photographer was. It was obviously amateur and obviously developed at a regular lab, and while it wasn't lewd it was certainly nude. And yes I still have the calendar

Yes, computers and printers were fairly new to me and I was constantly playing around with a couple of Picture Programs. We were heavily involved in motorcycle rallys, poker runs, and biker bars. At that time, around 1996 or so, and several years after, there was Harley repair shop on the main highway only a mile from where we lived. We'd met the owner, his son, and a lot of guys who hung out there over our first few years here in the Florida boonies.
I loved stopping in to visit while Dollie wore very little. The bikers who happened to be there loved seeing her. They knew she would flash or enter a No T-shirt contest with little coaxing. There were plans for a benefit of some sort right next to the main highway and around the little shop. They were taking donations of any gifts they could get for drawings. Plus it was the owner's birthday.
We'd taken a lot of Bike Week and other Florida bike event photos of my wife with my digital cameras. My brainy idea was to make two different calenders with 12 pictures each 8 1/2X11 I think. We'd give one to "Big Nasty" for his birthday and the other would be used as a gift for people to bid on. All pictures were nudes of my wife but not porn.
One calender ended up in a bike shop somewhere in southwest Florida and Nasty donated his, after most locals saw it, to another bike shop up in Alabama or Georgia. Used to know where and always wanted to stop and see if it was still around. The guy at the Florida shop called and thanked us, saying his customers loved it.
Everyone loved it and thought Dollie looked hot. Each had different pictures of Dollie modeling on custom bikes, titties in full view. Now I wished I'd made copies of them.

I've done it. I made one of my wife; used software Zazzle offers to design it and then bought the actual calendar through them. There is a special rush in seeing your own wife displayed as the pin up girl on a calendar - it's a classic form of exposure I never thought I would see her featured on - it's different than seeing a photo posted on the internet.

My wife used to have one from all the dick pictures she got from chatting online. She loved to talk naughty and send them quick flash pictures of here tits or anything else that got the man hot and in the mood to show her there dicks.

A few years ago, Sports Illustrated Magazine offered an electronic version of a swimsuit calendar to their online subscribers. One of the features was that it allowed you to choose from 5 or 6 different shots of 12 different swimsuit models for each month. Because the program stored the photo files in their own folder, it was an easy matter for me to add photos of my wife to that folder and then choose them as I would have any of the others they offered.

Besides using that calendar (with my wife's photos displayed) as my computer calendar, I was also able to use a friend's large format printer to make a very nice paper version that I hung in my workshop for the remainder of that year. Unfortunately, as easy as it was to add my wife's photos to the program, I couldn't figure out how to add new months or years, so it was no good to me as a calendar after December of that year.

Still, it was very exciting to see her in all her glory, hanging in the shed/workshop where I spent alot of my time that year!

A little update with what happened to me just before Christmas. A good friend of mine who I've known years decided to make her bf a calendar for this year. Not wanting to spend a fortune and knowing I was a photographer,albeit an amateur one, she asked me.
She basically wanted sexy underwear, topless and naked shots doing but nothing other than bum or side boob showing. Needless to say I was stupidly excited about this. We go back a long way and seeing her in underwear was nothing new. Naked however, was a first. Leading up to the big day we got together to decide ideas and talk about what she wanted. It soon became obvious to me that some poses would need a few shots to ensure everything was hidden. I was certain to get some gems to keep and enjoy at home.
Unfortunately, she was scared of that and on the day of the shoot provided her own memory card. Not a chance of me keeping any. Still, I did get to see her in some stupidly sexy underwear and see her in all her glory. It's in the memory bank for ever more if nothing else.

To keep this thread going here's something similar to a wife photo calender. First I know I didn't spell souveneer correctly.
I'm sure most of you have seen and used those vacation and amusement park photo shoots where you dress like a cowboy and cowgirl girl or many other costumes. We've done this many places, usually no more than my wife wearing a sleazy western call girl outfit with a lot of cleavage and leg exposed.
Well we were in our 30's and at a place we went often for vacations and our anniversary, Wisconsin Dells. Right on the main drag there was a shop run by several cute young girls who helped get their customer dressed and did the photo shoot. They would then go to a back room to develop and create a magazine cover. This took upward of an hour and they normally ask customers to check back.
I know you've seen those. You or your wife become the front cover of whatever popular magazine you choose.
To attract more paying customers, the photo shoot is done in the open, often in front of a large picture window, and where tourists inside can watch.
A few years earlier in the same shop my wife was dressed like a MsKitty type barmaid. Of course new girls were working there now. A typical magazine was 8 1/2 X 11 and we choose a bust photo, waist up. We picked one of those movie magazines with a twist. I don't remember what the heading was or the name of the phoney magazine. I do remember my wife was topless and the photo showed her in all her glory.
The girls weren't exactly thrilled to do this. There was a fairly large crowd of other people trying to decide what they wanted to be for their own photos plus the sidewalk outside was full of tourists. But we insisted or forget it. Knowing there was a wait for the finished magazine cover we were worried too many others would see the photo since they were put on display until the buyer picked them up. Now that I think of it I doubt that one would have been posted for the world to see. The finished photo is put in a plain brown envelope with a protective cardboard on front and back. The girls working in the shop admitted it was fun and exciting. They sure took their time doing the shoot.
The magazine cover was better than we expected. My wife actually looked like a movie star and her tits appeared larger than life. Everyone seeing it loved the picture. Being exhibitionists, I left the photo out of the envelope and used it and the cardboard to protect it as I carried the picture right out in the open while walking down the crowded sidewalk.
It was amazing how many strangers asked to see it then and wherever we went the next few days. I'd lay the photo face up....tits up... when we ate at a restaurant and nearly everywhere else we were. We sure got our moneys worth out of that photo shoot. Now if only I could find where we put it after moving.
Again in 1989 near Kissimmee, Fl in a shop there was a white Harley to sit on for photos. This time an older woman used a simple Polaroid camera. She even let me take a few photos with my film camera. There were at least a dozen other tourists in the shop but the gal thought it was a great idea when I suggested my wife pose topless like a real biker babe. Everyone seemed to enjoy that quickie photo shoot. Five years later we retired to Florida and the same woman took a few other tittie photos on a newer Harley. Yes she remembered Dollie!
Next time you have a souveneer dress up photo taken, try it topless. You and others will enjoy it.
Another place my wife flashes for photos is at those rides where they take a souveneer picture that you pick up when leaving. The photo at Disney World came out black. HA!

Microsoft Publisher will let you do custom calendars, with you own pictures. Getting them printed with high-definition shots is a challenge, though. I've done several custom calendars for both myself and my wife, but they've been of airplanes, dogs, etc., not something sexy.

Besides, she and I both think flannel nighties are sexier than Victoria's best stuff -- grasping a warm body is a lot more fun than grasping goose-pimples!
