Default Just got one recently.

I've been taking screen captures and cropping out everything but but the image. Most of what I've grabbed is from mainstream videos and therefore can't be posted here. I'll try to work up something for you. Might be a day or so. Busy holidays season and all...

I play the video using mx play in full screen, pause when I get the shot I want, tap to remove control icons and zoom if require.

once I have the the shot I want hold the power button and volume down key until the message snap shot taken appears.

this is for the galaxy tab2 running jellybean os

Default Here's how I do it.

In the example, I used a GIF but it works with any screen your device can display. You Tube puts the pause symbol right in the middle of the image so I cap it while it's running. Some of the other sources are kinder about such things.
Hope this helps.

P.S. Hover over the pic to see the caption and instructions.

First make screencap one of your buttons.JPG   This is the button.JPG

While viewing vido or whatever you want to cap hit the button.JPG   This is where they land.JPG

Notice it saves them as PNG files.JPG   I open the PNG with photo editor.JPG

Select crop.JPG   Take out all the stuff you dont want.JPG

Here you can choose format and location.JPG

Default I've used the snipping tool

I think Snagit would probably work too.

Default Android software update.

C S' ers took away the screen cap button! I'll check into some of the other methods and report back.
