Try logging into xhammy and you will be blocked no matter what state you live in the US. They are using the Virginia law and requiring various forms of ID options all of which will out you to the government and expose your personal info to hackers. Most people aren't comfortable letting the government know they are using porn sites 4 hours a day or whatever. People in the United States want their privacy protected and will object strongly to massive government overreach which has been happening for a while now. It's like living in a government controlled country where you do what the government says and you're opinions don't count for anything. Hacking is also a real possibility and they could publish a list of people with their personal info and report them as pervs who visit porn sites and show your time online at a porn site. If you are anyone that is somewhat known you're not going to take your chances and if you do you might regret it. I do believe there will be challenges in court. I'm also thinking about getting into the fake ID business.

By the way, seven states in the US are pushing for ID requirements. I do believe eventually there will be court challenges to the new laws. They didn't have any laws against porn back in my day. I could easily pick up a National Geographic and get an eyeful and my parents actually bought the magazine for us.

Yep. In the old days, they just moved the dirty magazines to the top of the rack, so the kids couldn't reach them.

Default Who voted for this?

I think the bigger danger is hackers and private enterprise blackmail rather than the government. Unless/until ordinary pornography is criminalized, the government isn't coming after you. But I still agree with:

The inconsistency/hypocrisy is that the state legislators who forced this on their voters, are the same ones who got elected on a platform of individualistic libertarian arguments for small government, low taxation (especially for the rich), get the govmint off our backs, individual freedom to buy and carry guns everywhere openly or concealed, individual rights before society's, not have to wear facemasks in crowded places even for the common good ... the list goes on.

Yet many of those who resent their loss of porn freedom, gladly voted for these grifters who delivered on this election promise. It is as if they have not seen the causal connection between how they voted and their own loss of porn freedom. Will they be suckered into voting for more of the same next time? Probably.

Isn't porn already illegal in Florida? Federal law says it's legal everywhere in the United States, but there are state laws which say otherwise.

I think it is. Check your "obscenity" laws. They may not be enforced, but they can always use them against you if they really want to. Lots of state and local governments have obscenity laws on the books.

Default It's for the children tho!

This is all new to me I joined this site yesterday. I would have been totally oblivious of this if I didn't join. So thank you OCC for existing.
This article blew my mind. Yes I live in the U.S mfing A... not to be harsh but yall don't even carry guns already no pun intended. For that reason instead u get stabbed, at least u get a better survival chance. ANYWAYS I kinda picked some interesting comments out of this. And just share what I think. Totally my opinion and we all know opinions are like asshole's we all have one. Just so happens we can share that here if wanting to also.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/b...-to-become-law
"(At the NSPCC, we hear from children about the completely unacceptable levels of abuse and harm they face online every day. That’s why we have campaigned strongly for change alongside brave survivors, families, young people and parliamentarians to ensure the legislation results in a much safer online world for children)"
Well I might have grown up differently but my parents/government didn't care what I had to say or hear me out... I "Respected" them enough to not put me in harm. Let's help the children but not hold the parents accountable. Now I grew up poor and still am I've been in the streets. I understand so kids don't have the family connections, love and respect.
("Former Love Island star and campaigner Georgia Harrison said
"Violence against women and girls is so common, with one in three women in the UK having experienced online abuse or harassment"
"The Online Safety bill is going to help bring this to an end, by holding social m companies accountable to protect women and girls from online abuse"
Right away they are already admitting know how common it is online. Must be the guys doing it then... (we are such pigs). At least they are going to hold the social media giants accountable or try. Now the fathers and boys that are the one they need to hold accountable. Maybe it's because I'm a guy so I notice it more but females and girls can be absolutely ruthless with not even having to brandish a weapon. (Hense ONLINE). My opinion it's about 60% men and 40% female bully and use violence to solve problems. Females have a "special power" "pussy power" which can absolutely destroy a good man. Now give them that power online to make a living with. Plus all the big live stream influencer bull shit life style. I understand only a small percentage succeed but same with men pro athletes. I wonder if they use all the influencer live streams and all the phones around to spy on every one to actually figure those numbers. Moving on.
("Also added to the bill are new laws to decisively tackle online fraud and violence against women and girls. Through this legislation, it will be easier to convict someone who shares intimate images without consent and new laws will further criminalise the non-consensual sharing of intimate deepfakes.")
Maybe some one can help me on this one?
Online fraud and violence against women and girls. Once again men are pigs. Me being a man I would say 3/3 of us have been defrauded or scammed. Just because it was a good Idea to cameras on all phones for everyone to be free and take pictures of you life and good memories... men/women both buy tit/cookie pics... because sex sells it absolutely proven. I've said this so many times in my life.."I wish I had a camera phone when I was kid growing up"... I do remember steals cameras at party, going to the bathroom and bam d pic totally anon. Well sometimes. Now your can criminally charge some one for sharing a lude photo of you that you sent him knowing dam well 75% or relationship end. To me that sounds like the roll of the dice. It's not going to stop anything. I blame clothes !!!!!!
Clothes are 10% protection from elements and 90% fashion. I personally don't understand it.
Men when was the last time you sold a d-pic or was even in a possible situation to? Yeah I understand unsolicited d-pics are very upsetting for alot of females to get but on the other hand very acceptable if it's nice. Mostly not. I've personally sent other people's dick to females that also scammed me because they didn't send me a snap that we agreed on with unregulated funds. I see how this law could come in to play there. Ok I'm going to hold up there, because I have a good story for yall and totally legal one because I went to court on it but for another day. I'll have to work on that one.
This is all just got my rights feeling so not there even. Yeah you could possibly reck you life for selling or sharing your "naked body" or the person you gave that picture to because it got to the interwebs... ever lost a phone? Or have social media spy on you. Why do u think your phone flashes in IR night vision cameras... just say man shit is about to hit the fan........
.
.. big time. I don't know what's happening but I can just feel it. What a better way to prepare the future for your kids by taking away porn and violent videos and video games. Now everyone isn't indoors all day jerking off for 4hrs and gaming for 6. Everyone is out side some are having a good time because we don't care about social media and what completely strangers think about us because of our values and who we are... what are all the people that you all ready addicted them to... I would guess all us proverts will have use our imagination jerkin or go fuck. Now you have the blood in the water with females knowing they can sell themselves naked but can't online anymore. Or the high headed influencer that thinks she/he actually matters to everyone she/he is around. Man talking about stirring the shit pot. This is why I'm just so amazed by all this.... how can you ever stop the will and needs of people. War!!! Man I hate to say that word so much. My family is a army family. With all the signs starting to line up. I personally for some instinct believe it's coming. I don't get why is USA open boarder for last 3 years... why are we trying to stop porn for non criminal actions. Heavily protect the children and females.... kinda lines up with a numbers game. Like wars do. Well also placement and who attacks who from there. But in the end highest number usually the best odds. I personally dont have kinds. I'm a better uncle than a dad. I've felt that way sense high school. Still I've personally seen and felt the decline in the need to go chase girls or find the "Right one" because how society is so about trying make you something your not... every one is losing touch on what reality really is... like so easy to be mister big dominant man online but in reality if was standing there u wouldn't say much probably. Idk I've gotten kinda far fetched on the post but to me it seems like they trying to push male and females back to reproduction of more kids because that's our future. To me it also seem like some country's are trying to gain big numbers very quickly. Here come live here we got a place for you. (5 or 10 years later) if you want to stay here, take this gun and fight. Kinda like the baby boom Era of ww2... they had no porn. Ok I'm done sorry and thank you if you actually read this. Yeah I'm not the best or even try or claim to be good at grammar. I'm work on it. I had a physical labor job most of my life so didn't right many books like this. Just signed my name on my paycheck. Oh shit reminder banks... we have 5 big banks going down kinda hard lately in USA.... a sign? Who knows. Plus banks are stopping doing business with coin shops... like I know lots don't use coins much anymore but... we all know if something would happen you plastic card is shit... coins is still valuable... strange days are head of us I feel... let's keep a sharp head and eyes pealed for other odd things.

Here you go. One of the UK-government-approved companies for identity verification has just been breached. As someone already said before, this type of data is going to be of incredible value for hackers and bring about all sort of trouble (Ashley Madison anyone?).
