web cam threads where they gone??

Ive posted this here cause Im not sure where to post, can anyone tell me where the threads have gone about web cams ww.bom and others there was a lot of posts on here about them and all of a sudden they have gone is there a reason, sorry if this has been explained somewhere but I cant see it.
