In Orlando in the 1970's...
Back in the 1970's, near the dog racing track north of Orlando was strip club that I would visit when in town. It advertised an amateur night with a $250 first prize--a lot of $$ back then. I went with a couple of friends and the girls all looked like pro strippers to me except they undressed from street clothes in most cases.
