My wife also had a very high sex drive during all three of her pregnancies. The first few months she was always emotional and there was little to no sex but the last few months she was like you said, a sex machine. Once a day or more was typical. During her last pregnancy she had to have an emergency hysterectomy due to complication during the cesarean delivery and her sex drive was nil for several years.
