In Ingvartsen’s solo – which maintains a good balance between exhibition and performance – she explores the way in which we deal with our bodies and sexuality today. London’s Soho Theatre is once again offering some top quality stage nudity. Currently playing is ‘Two Man Show’ by the RashDash Theatre Company. The two main performers Helen Goalen and Abbi Greenland are topless for much of the 70 minute show and fully naked for around 10 minutes half way through. During the naked section the third performer, the excellent musician Becky Wilkie also strips off completely. I’ve seen several shows by this group and this was the first time I’ve seen them fully nude although Abbi Greenland has been briefly topless before in a previous show.

The show is in the small Theatre Upstairs so you are very close to the performers. It’s also played in the ‘traverse’ with the audience both sides of the performance area. There is no stage so this means effectively there are two front rows to get a good seat. I would recommend front row in the centre or one of the raked seats in the centre. Beware the second row adjacent the entrance as this does not have a rake so if you get a tall person in front you are blocked. I easily got a front row seat by keeping close to the bar exit when they put the call out that the theatre is open.

There are some good photos on the site that give a reasonable idea of what to expect. The nudity in the photos is under lit. This is not the case in the actual show. The show had excellent reviews from the Edinburgh festival and was packed when I went on Saturday (prior to press night) so it might be worth booking ahead if you want to go on a peak night.

Wow, they are all rather hot!! So is it fully uncovered nudity, do you see any lips and it's in clear light - do any of they have big natural boobs or hairy pussies?? Do they say no filming or what?.

Went to the circus, it had advertised nudity but really it was only the one topless scene, the rest was guys having stuff hanging from their balls/having it sucked by a vacuum.

All three performers are completely naked. The lighting changes throughout, sometimes it’s fairly bright, at other points dimmed. Abbi and Helen move around a lot, a feature of several of their shows is their physical interaction where they carry or support each other. It’s a mixture of dance and circus skills. This is not a porn show. The warning on the booking page sums it up nicely: “Please note at points during the show performers will be naked (non threatening and not sexual nudity)”

All three have small, natural breasts. Abbi, the red head, has delightfully perky nipples. Also I’m glad to say all are unshaven and but sporting lightly trimmed bushes. I didn’t spot any obvious lip. My personal preference always favours the natural look for both boobs and bush.

The surprise for me was when Becky the musician got naked too. An unexpected pleasure for sure.

The Soho theatre has the usual blanket ban on filming and has ushers who aren’t shy about intervening if audience members are disturbing a show. I’ve never seen anyone use a camera except the end of a show in the downstairs cabaret venue or at the request of a performer as part of a show.

Sounds amazing! How long was Becky naked for?. You can clearly see bush on all 3 for a good few mins?

Becky is naked on the performance area for maybe a couple of minutes. Then she goes back to where her instruments are at one end and is mostly sitting behind her keyboard so bush is hidden. After about 10 minutes she put on panties and a vest top.
