i think they just had a last minute cancel and couldn't find a new group to take a photo quick enough:

Unfortunately our centrefold for this week has pulled out at the last minute. We therefore have a spare slot open this week – if you're interested in advertising your CSP, and you can come along to South Kensington by Wednesday for a photoshoot

also, that's the paper for friday. in 3-4 days we'll have a new paper. i think the demise of the centrefold has been greatly exaggerated in the past (fango said so himself). many here were concerned it was dying and then we get a topless and full pussy photo. so i think if we are patient it will resolve.
