What the heck happened today?

I thought that I uploaded a bad picture to an album. I got a warning once on a picture that she was too young and figured it happened again. But I too took it as an epiphany because I consider asking for deletion at least once a month.

has anyone got the problem that i have,my private message function has gone missing,i can't read or send messages

I got the odd PM too.

Says. "Hello. Open the Message. I've got something for you."

Since I don't remember every asking for anything, I did a search on the "user" who sent it. Nothing.

I'm guessing it's some kind of trap for an old guy like me.

Yes, I've noticed I've got that problem when I tried sending one. Even when I clicked the "Reply" button from an old message and typed in my message, it just says "So and so have decided not to receive private messages, etc, etc." I did also receive spam messages last week, millin, but I never clicked on a link, just deleted the message.

As for gretschdrum81, I think it would be a shame to delete stuff you have taken the time to either upload on a thread or in albums. If the pace becomes too much at times, just take a break from it. I know it can be absorbing on here at times, but it's better than losing all your work for good. And if you are debating over an image, I recall 'Seal's advice to me when I first came: "If in doubt, leave it out." Fingers crossed though, the glitches will be sorted out soon.

It appears that whatever Admin did to prevent the spam messages from happening again has affected more than he expected. I have tried to contact him over it again, but I don't know if my PM got through?
Hopefully Admin will check back and spot the problem.
As for everyone being banned, I have no idea what that was. It affected everyone, mods included.
Again, I have asked, but am yet to hear from Admin about it. If I do find out I'll pass it on.

Use to have a retained / saved PM limit of 40 messages and when got close to that would reluectantly delete select older messages so that would be able to receive any new messages. Have often refered back to older messages when responding to PM's.

Yesterday logged in to discover the PM box was declared "100% full" with no new messages. Has the limit now been reduced to just two retained PM's - which is essentially useless to retain any, or really to receive any - or has something else happened?

The glitch reminded me of the golden rule. Data only existsif it is held in three separate places.

I have copied the contents of my albums to another site.

They seem to be popular there too.
