I wonder if anyone else had a Christmas tradition such as we had, when the children were young and my wife was up for most things?

We have three children and they would all get very excited on Christmas Eve. Each had a “stocking” actually a football sock to hang from their bedroom doorknob for Santa to fill when he visited after they were asleep.
