Persuade my girlfriend to try topless: where is it the most common?

I want to persuade my girlfriend to go topless on a public beach this summer, she is kinda shy but has shown some kind of exhibitionism during our relationship, but she is not self confident at all (she thinks she is ugly as hell) to try going topless despite her being very slim with perky tits
I guess she would be more persuaded to take her top off if most of the girl on the beach also are without it
Where to go this summer? We can afford two places at once so i will pick the ones where it is more common to be topless

Is this definitely still true? I know that places like these always did have topless sunbathing, but wondered if anyone knows whether it's still as common nowadays?

I remember going to one of the canary islands, Tenerife I think, when I was about 17 with my family back in like 2005 and there were lots of topless women on the beach of all ages. That holiday I hooked up with a German girl around my age who didn't sunbathe topless, but was happy to change from a wet bikini top to a t-shirt on the beach, so happily got her tits out in the open, and right in front of her dad. Amazing and shocking to me, but clearly tits were no big deal to them. It was a great summer for a nice look around.

Around 2009 I was in Mallorca and there wasn't so much of it on the beach near my hotel. Smaller resort I guess, though I clearly remember one girl in her mid 20's playing bat and ball in just bikini bottoms - doubt I'll ever forget all that jiggling and bending over. Then in 2012 I was in Tenerife again and there was still a fair bit of topless tanning, but definitely less than in 2005. Luckily my hotel had an adults only pool which saw a few topless women round it, some of them in their 20's and 30's. I even managed to persuade my gf to try it (she's very reserved about that kind of thing) and she went topless, though literally for just a couple of hours and at a time when the pool was fairly quiet.

Also that summer the friend of a girl I went to school with posted a load of pics on fb from Ibiza I think, or a similar party island with a bunch of her mates. At that time you could still easily browse all the photos/albums a friend of a friend posted, and they'd clearly done a bulk upload, because half way thru the album was a lovely pic of the girl from my school sat on a sunlounger with her tits out, smiling for the camera. She'd have been about 22 at the time. She wasn't tagged in the pic and it was gone by the following morning, so I doubt many will have seen it. Yes I did take a copy, but no it's not going on here.

However, the reason for my question at the start is that a couple of years back I was on a Greek island, and I was saddened to see that topless sunbathing was virtually non-existant. Of the whole beach, it was literally just one or two middle-aged women, plus one day a group of local-looking girls sat in a more isolated part of the beach with 1 of them topless. Thong-bottoms seemed to have become popular which was some consolation I guess, but definitely no replacement for all those lovely, glistening sun-creamed titties that used to be all around.

Maybe it was just never as popular in the Greek islands, or maybe the Germans and other Europeans who are more prone to going topless tend to visit the Spanish resorts, I don't know - but I'm going to one of the Spanish islands this summer and really hoping it hasn't died out. I guess the prevalence of good quality, small cameras in phones etc. and the takeover of the Internet hasn't helped with girls' reluctance to go topless. I imagine the average, respectable student or 25 year old girlfriend who works in an office somewhere, doesn't like the idea that a video of them rubbing sun-cream into their tits, filmed from 100m away, could end up on a porno site being watched by 50,000 men including that guy from accounts and the old guy next door etc.

I was in Barcelona last year. There were topless women on all the beaches (up to 50%) and a fully nude beach as well.

I was in Tenerife (PDLA) last summer and I noticed the trend seemed to be for thong bottoms rather than going topless.

Me and the Mrs have been going to Ibiza for the last few years - go north or west for quieter couples holidays. She hadn't really subathed topless before, but now barely wears her top, at the beach, swimming, around the pool. No big deal for her and she always has plenty of company, young, old, spanish, tourists. Its very common.
