The thing with the numbers game is it sometimes becomes just that with no reference to quality or enjoyment. At the age of 60, I've just reached the number 50.

I think it sounds 'a lot', but I played in a band back in the day and many nights were basically a knee trembler with someone at the gigs, in an alleyway, in the band van, the dressing room, etc, and probably 35 of my encounters were like that, in a year long period, with no reference to quality, enjoyment or even knowing her name.
