This may not quite fit her but...

We invited a friend of my wife to our wedding that my wife totally 'friendzoned' even before that was a term. They worked together at a fast food restaurant before we started dating and became good friends. He was a couple of years older and my wife had no attraction for him except as a friend. She probably should have hung around him less because she encouraged him but she could not see that he liked her. (She can be clueless about some things)

He came to the reception late and alone and didn't stay long. Kind of felt bad for him but we have been married for almost 30 years, so I guess she didn't make a terrible choice.
