The director is a woman, Penny Woodcock (check IMDB) and some preliminary research of the cast reveals that the young lady in question is called Lara Clifton, and she's a real pub stripper. There's an article about a stripping-related book she edited

Sadly, I doubt this movie will show up on tv (not even Channel 4!) nor at my local Blockbuster, so I'm eternally grateful for Lesbograt for the most excellent clips!
