My first apartment had a common balcony for the 4 units in our building. I had been there about a week and was sitting out on the balcony having a beer when the girl next door came out. We chatted a bit and she asked me if that was my GF she saw me with Saturday, I told her, no, just an friend who came to visit. She said, "the walls here are pretty thin, but if that's the way you treat your friends, you can count me in."
