I found out about this about 10 years ago.
Basically it's a contest between various societies at a university. The competition is which society/club can produce the longest continuous line of their clothing, with each piece having to touch the next piece.
The contest starts and the groups take off all their regular clothes. Does the contest stop there? No, the society members that want to show their supreme dedication to their club then proceed to take off their underwear and add them to the line! Eventually when everyone's naked (or has reached their limit of shyness) the contest is declared over and the group with the longest line wins.
Well, that's how I remember it being explained, anyway. I think it's popular in Scandinavia? Or maybe Germany? Can't remember that much or indeed what the game is called.
