i tried using the "print screen" option in windows media player and pasting it into ms paint, but that is a pain in the butt because you have to crop the photos. it would take forever to make a good number of caps for each vid.

i also tried using the screen shot feature in vlc player. but i hate that as well. it's difficult to get it to pause exactly where you want (the old windows movie maker was great at that).

anyone have any other recommendations? i'd rather not load up my computer with even more software, but if i have to i guess i will. i've noticed some software mentioned earlier in this thread, but that was 4 years old and i assume there's new/better stuff now.
