Somebody trying to log in under my account
 

I am the soul user of this pc and yesterday recieved this email

Your account on One Click Chicks Forum has been locked because someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.

It wasnt me. I was just wondering if this has been a problem recently with people trying to log on under existing members accounts?

The IP address of whoevere it was is also contained in the email I recieved.

I had this same problem.
 

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP
address: 150.217.19.77

Did they have this IP add.

Yep thats the 1. Bastard. Hopefulyl the Admin can now ban that IP?

I have a little problem with banning IP addresses on a permanant basis.

At least three of us at my place of employment are members here, including the boss. In fact, the boss actually lives in the same building, and we all share a common broadband network connection. Hell, depending on the time of day, we might even use the same computer to log on (it's nice having a fellow perv as a boss) if our work is current. I'd hate to think that some asshole that might know our username might get us all blocked off the site. A couple of people here would love that. A blanket ban on the IP would be unfair in our case.

Of course, the problem you run into is that many people have dynamic IP addresses.

I guess if this guy's IP keeps on showing up, then you know and can ban him.

I really hope we're not dealing with someone who's very computer literate. Another board I haunt was hacked a couple of months ago, and it created a lot of problems.
