Ann Margret in Vietnam (bottomless for the troops)
 

Been hearing about this for 40 years, and now I've finally found a photo. Ann Margret, putting on one HELL of a show for the troops in Vietnam. The stories are legendary, but is the photo real (that pubic hair does look a bit sparse for the late '60's)? It seems too good to be true, but if it is..Holy Shit!!!

A few more, from a different show (and another, EXTREMELY suspicious version of that panty-less photo). She's definatly not wearing a skirt in the first two..just pantyhose (possibly dance tights, but there's really not much difference).

You're probably right. Either that, or it's a manipulated photo. However, the story goes that Ann Margret DID perform a show without her panties, in a mini skirt that was so short you could see everything.

Hey, thanks for the link. Never saw that one, but it's definatly Ann Margret that the stories are about. Is it an "urban legend"? Could be, but I know guys who swear they were there (or knew someone who was). Of course, that's the way these stories always go. Could've have been a trick of the eye, or maybe just wishful thinking, but SOMETHING happened during one of those shows.

If I had to formulate a theory, based on the photos I've seen, I'd say Ann was wearing transparent white tights, possibly without panties, which gave the illusion that she wasn't wearing anything below the waist. Maybe sweat from the performance caused them to "cling", maybe she was wearing dark panties that looked like pubic hair from a few feet away, or maybe..just maybe, she really did perform exactly the way the stories say.
