I was in a bad accident and wore a full leg cast with a walking boot after it had heeled a few weeks, with crutches.

At a bar in NYC a lovely girl sat beside me and asked if I had lost a leg. I said no, it was just badly mangled. She said that she just plain lost it for amputees and couldn't help herself. She looked great!

Once, I visited a local bakery to get a cookie after lunch. There was a very attractive girl behind the counter. She asked me how I was doing.

I was married, so I just had a big laugh but didn't follow up on it.

My mother worked with this girl, Rose, who, according to my her, had a crush on me, let's just say mom didn't approve of some of Rose's life choices. At the time I had a serious GF and Rose wasn't my type, she was a little rough around the edges, today Rose would have tats, piercings and dress in black.

My mother didn't drive, I went to pick her up one afternoon and I had to wait because she was in a meeting. I was sitting there just chatting with Rose, she looked around to see if anyone could hear her then said "I know you have a cute little preppy girlfriend, but if you go out with me I'll take you places she's never heard of."

Even at 18 I knew a cheesy line from a bad movie when I heard one, but Rose had me stammering like a 5th grader. No, I never went out with her, the preppy GF was pretty hot too, but I sure thought about it.

Many years ago my husband and I were invited to one of my best friends first art showing.
We had had an argument about going and at the time my hubby was kinda judgmental about the type of people who went to art galleries (thankfully he has grown up).

At the showing he loudly expressed that he didn't understand some of the paintings and asked why anyone would want to buy them. Being supportive of my friend I told him to stop being a jerk and not wanting him to upset my friend at her first showing told him to wait for me at a pub around the corner.
He barely lost a second in leaving.

Before the door had even closed, a woman in her mid thirties gave me a hug and said "With a man like that I would try switching to women. Do you want to try?"

She was the desert after dinner in her bed ... and she was VERY good.
