New Mobile style - Tell us what you think
 

We just created a new design for mobile users. If you are using a mobile device to view the forums, we want your feedback so we can keep improving the new style.

Mobile devices should automatically be detected and assigned the new "Mobile Style". However, member's can easily switch back and forth between our standard the new "Mobile Style" and our classic "Desktop Style" with the selection link in the bottom left corner of every page.

Please let us know if you are seeing any pages that look like they are not displayed correctly on your phone. We're still working out a few quirks and we will listen to all your suggestions to keep improving the new mobile interface & design.

Can you post (or send me a PM) with the URL of the page where you saw "my friends home page their profile pic is obscured by text boxes" so I can try to see what you are seeing? We want to work to improve this for everyone's sake.

only tested it out for about 30 minutes but so far it feels more comfortable and I spend less time scrolling.

Definitely quicker navigation on phone screen. Less scrolling, and fewer fat fingers on multi-page posts. So far I like it and if not it looks like it's easy to switch views.

Wow - it's like a brand new site! Ipad user here. The last few weeks here have, frankly, been horrible. Eventually took the plunge and updated to the latest iOS, specifically to see if it made this place look better - all to no avail - default views all tiny. Mounting sense of doom, didn't visit daily for the first time in centuries! Returning today - golly gosh! The desktop and mobile layouts both work nicely, with the desktop just having the edge on readability. Thumbnails are a much more useful size and everything seems more frisky - I've never seen the links open so quickly. Job very well done, guys.

Mobile site is much better, way easier to click accurately with fat thumbs lol.

Really like it, and I find it much easier to use.
