Video section suggestion

I agree with the threads below regarding vidcaps - should be MANDATORY for posts, as there are now many many reposts of videos with either the filenames changed, or incorrect descriptions.

BUT, there has recently been an onslaught of Webcam vids, which I do like, but I think we are at a point where it may be a good idea to consider a separte video section for them, called something like WebCam Videos.

If you look at the video posts just since re-opening the forum, several of these are your garden variety "girl in front of her webcam, posts herself stripping" type stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like the genre, but I think it may be time for it's own section to separate them from the rest of the "softcore" videos.

Thoughts?

i agree vidcaps make the bandwidth issue better, i know looking back, there are some videos i would not have gotten if i had seen a cap.

also, i think since we should do everything possible to conserve transfer, we should only allow .jpg, or similar attachments. bitmaps are just too big, and jpeg's are just as good for us. we dont need super high quality cap's here, just something to give us an idea

Back in "the old days" I used to have time to make vidcaps for most everything posted. In the future, we need to encourage people to make their own vidcaps and also write better descriptions. It's hard to slowly train thousands of people to do things our way, but the vidcaps really do help everyone.

We are considering dropping support for bitmaps. Meaning, the forum software will no longer accept them.

Thanks,
