As of this post, there were 421 downloads of this video without a comment. After I had posted it here, I posted it on another forum. On that forum as of this post, there were 422 downloads and I received 7 comments. :confused:

A two timer huh.:p You can't compair forums by the amount of comments. Is the material on the "other forum" as good as the stuff you find here? If so, where's the link? OCC is the only place to be. :D For some reason this file would not play and showed corrupt in movie maker. I converted it with another program and was able to view it. Great vid now that I got it working. Thanks.

it's a good vid, problem is it tries to open in wmp and won't. Open with quicktime after you download and thank this guy!

That it is a good indication on how active a forum's membership is. The other forum that this was posted on is much smaller than OCC. In a lot of ways, they remind me of OCC in the early days. They are still a free forum, but are going to start charging for video access as this forum had to do to cover bandwidth costs. I think that the real problem here is all the members that were grandfathered in with lifetime free video access. They may have been active posting members at the time, but for one reason or other have stopped posting. They still remain casual voyeurs however and log in to see what's new. At least that's my theory anyway.
As far as one being better than the other, there's no comparison. The archives at OCC are fantastic. The amount of quality material here is outstanding and in my opinion is second to none.
I downloaded the video and it played fine for me, although it wouldn't load into WMM for me either. I use WMP 11 and the K-Lite Mega codec pack.

Thanks for sharing!

I too had trouble opening it, but was able to convert it to AVI with VirtualDub (see attached).
File size doubled even with DIVX compression, but honestly I didn't mess with it much.

Thanks for the conversion asdvlerner! I'm at a loss as to why some members are having problems playing the clip I posted. :confused: Maybe your version will resolve the issues.

As an experiment, I used a freeware program called SUPER to convert my original post to an .avi using DivX and I came up with a file which appears to be the same quality as yours, yet was only 4.30MB. Go figure.

You ought to add this clip to your excellent RapidShare folder! :p
